Hi there.
None of Team Sausage Fingers have ever blogged before so please bear with.
At the start of the lockdown, Kev Sausage Fingers decided to make a board game with his kids, for something to do and because he’s good at stuff like that. He asked Marc Sausage Fingers for help with ideas because he’s good at stuff like that. Then he asked Mike Sausage Fingers to help make sure the rules worked and add some more ideas because he’s good at stuff like that.
Long story short, we ended up with a board, some funny cards and several drinks in a pub, with a few interested but still socially distanced onlookers watching us argue, laugh and get slowly drunk as we played the game.
It was a lot more fun than we had any right to expect, providing as it did some of our favourite things – an excuse to get together, talk rubbish and drink, something to argue about the intricacies of, something to joke about and plenty of excuse to be evil to each other as we tried to win the game.
The name isn’t finalised but it is currently called Lock-Down and we think it’s good enough that other people will enjoy it too.
So here we are, we’ve set up a blog and a website. Somehow we’re stuck with the name Sausage Fingers and we’re going to see what we can do to make the game available to others.
